What is changing?

We will be shifting the Apache AddHandler directive for PHP 5.6 to php-legacy. PHP 7.3 will use php-stable until further notice.

Why is this maintenance happening?

This maintenance is needed as one of the first steps in our PHP 5.6 EOL in September. It is advised that all websites that are currently using PHP 5.6 be audited to ensure compatibility with PHP 7.3.
